Age: 5 years and 9 years old
Donation: £500 (as a pair)
Background – This funny pair came to us when their owner became unwell and experienced some changes in circumstances. Rosie is an ex-breeding dog but has lived in a loving home since 2021, and Tink was in the home for quite some time before Rosie came along.
Character – These two are very loveable and no trouble, they both love a fuss and a cuddle and are generally very placid and relaxed. Rosie is more nervous and looks to Tink for reassurance, whilst Tink (who can be bossy with Rosie) is more confident.
With children and other animals – Whilst this pair have not been tested with young children, they are fantastic with people and very gentle souls so we would be happy for them to live with calm children subject to successful introductions. They have been assessed with other small dogs in day care at another foster placement and were very good girls, happily sleeping on the sofa with others.
Type of home – The girls are happy with a quiet life, they enjoy snoozing on the sofa and cuddling up, pottering around the garden and going out for nice walks. They get very excited when their harnesses come out so do need a home where they have daily walks, but they are not mega athletic. They greet other dogs well on walks, and also travel well in the car.
Adoption – The girls are in foster care in Fishponds, Bristol and applicants will need to come and meet them here.
