Background – We don’t have a great deal of information about Roy’s history and so he has spent some time at the kennels so we can get to know him a little better.

Character – Roy is a lovely, gentle soul who is no trouble here – he’s a happy soul who doesn’t ask for much and is happy spending his days pootling around the fields and being fussed by his companion.

Type of home – Roy would be suited to a fairly normal collie home – he is an older boy now though so isn’t looking for anything too strenuous, just nice walks and a comfy sofa. Roy does have some slight lameness in his back leg, but this has been investigated by the vet and we believe that it’s just a case that lack of exercise has caused some muscle loss – this has started to improve after some physiotherapy.

Adoption – Roy is a resident at our kennels near Wells and applicants must meet him here.
