Background – Rupert arrived in our care when his family did not feel able to manage two puppies in the home. Rupert has grown up around his brother and young children in a busy family home.

Character – Although he appeared sad and nervous when he arrived, this turned out to be the total opposite of what he is really like – Rupert is a super happy and friendly boy in his foster home! This young pup is also mega playful and adores his foster siblings (the four legged variety).

Type of home – Obviously Rupert has had a bit of a bumpy start in life and so is likely to be a little unsettled, but he has adapted at a brilliant pace in foster care and so we have no doubt that with patience and training he will thrive. Rupert is used to busy family homes, but will need structure and stability. Rupert would be best suited to a fairly active family with a garden, and will need a 6ft boundary to avoid unplanned adventures.

Adoption – Rupert is in foster care in Bristol and applicants must be willing to come and meet him here – we anticipate he’ll be ready to move to his new home around 1st March. Please ensure you have read our ‘adopting’ page prior to applying and are within our catchment area of Bristol, Somerset, Bath and immediate surrounding areas.
