Sandy arrived at Dogs Friends in July 2021 along with his litter brother, Judge. They came from a working dog background although apparently weren’t very good at their jobs so were handed over to us to live their lives as pets.
 

“Yossi is a complete bundle of joy. His character has certainly come out over the last few weeks. He is a complete clown, who simply loves to play. He is totally settled in the house and as you can see, has made himself right at home! He is very responsive to training and has already learnt to lie down instead of launching himself at people when they have food. Recall is also coming along nicely, thanks to some visits to a secure field for some training. He has a gentle sweet nature and loves all humans and dogs. Although, he is currently in the process of learning to be a little calmer when we see other dogs on a walk! Yossi has made best friends with gorgeous Winston Whippet and they enjoy a game of chase. He has been very respectful of his elderly sister who doesn’t want to play much but has decided that he’s quite a lovely younger brother to have around. Yossi adores his walks in the wonderful Devon countryside, cooling off in muddy puddles and coming home for lots of snoozing and cuddles or even a visit to the pub. Just one thing…..getting out of the house takes a little longer these days, due to me looking for my missing shoes – thank you Yossi!

Thank you Dogs Friends for letting me adopt him. He’s a very special boy and I can’t wait to meet up with his brother Jude and his adopters! That should be great fun!”
