Shadow was rescued a couple of months ago from a Public Shelter (aka Killing Station) in Romania after I saw his terrified but resigned face there. Shadow was very scared when he first got here and just hid behind the sofa in his kennel for the first few days.    Now he is in foster and has enthusiastically settled into home life, is really sweet, playful and loving (and likes watching TV curled up on a lap). He has sight issues (possible retina atrophy or congenital cataracts) which give him an endearing cross eyed look; this may improve with veterinary treatment but he has no issues navigating his environment and he catches treats and toys easily. Shadow will need a patient and understanding home to continue his training, with another calm dog for reassurance, but no small furries, cats or small children. He will make the right home very happy!
