Background – We don’t know much about Sky’s history but have got to know her well as she is in a totally brilliant foster home where her character is starting to shine through.

Character – Although Sky can be anxious about new things, she does really seek reassurance from her trusted people and has made such progress that she will now seek affection and cuddles. Sky is cheeky and playful and is learning that humans can be fun! Sky plays for hours with her canine foster brother and loves to wrestle.

In and out of the home – Sky likes to snuggle on the sofa but does like to have a den to retreat to if she feels overwhelmed. Sky is well and happy to be left alone, but does also really enjoy long walks – she is happy in the car so it’s easy to take her on adventures.

Type of home – Sky would be best placed in an experienced and gentle home with people who ideally live in a rural area. Sky would also benefit from a confident resident dog. Sky’s biggest wish is a home that doesn’t mind smells as tinned sardines are her favourite thing in the world!

Training needs – If she is unsure or feeling overwhelmed, Sky will show her teeth and curl her lip as a warning. If this is ignored she will snap. We want to be very honest about this, but hope that someone will still take a chance on this damaged little soul in need.

Adoption – Skye is in foster care in Nailsea and applicants will need to meet her here.
