Background

Snowy arrived with us from a breeding background and was heavily pregnant. Fortunately her Mum duties are over and she is now looking for a loving home of her own.

Character

Snowy’s foster Mum says “Snowy (AKA Snow Jo) is a very easygoing and social little girl, who just wants a cosy couch to snuggle on. Snowy’s favourite pastimes are getting head scratchies, enjoying tummy rubs, and gazing lovingly into your eyes. She also enjoys a good explore around her secure garden. If the sun is shining, even better, as this little one loves to sunbathe! Since her babies have fled the nest, and she has settled in foster care, Snow Jo has started to show a mischievous side. (We think it makes her all the more endearing). If you drop something on the floor and don’t notice, Snowy will happily fetch it for you and take it to her bed for a full investigation!”

“Snowy is such a good girl and sleeps well through the night. While in foster care, Snowy has been sleeping downstairs with her litter of puppies. Now that she is retired from Motherhood, we feel that she would really love to sleep in your bedroom. Snowy is very very happy to sleep in a cosy dog bed.”

Type of home

While Snowy is a good girl when being left alone, we feel that having a resident dog is important for her confidence. Snowy will sit in the front window when left alone, and wait for her foster carer to come home. She loves to greet her family with lots of kisses!

Snowy would benefit from a patient home, who is understanding that she will flourish with time. She would prefer a quiet home where her people are around often. She is more than happy to keep you company while you work from home, and promises not to snore while she naps all day! Snowy does still need some help with enjoying walks but has already quickly progressed from being in a sling to starting to walk on lead. Housetraining is also going well but accidental wee’s wee’s are to be expected!

This super snuggly girl just loves her people and is hoping to be the centre of someone’s world!

Snowy doesn’t like children and is very worried by them, so an adult only home is essential for her.

Adopting

Snowy is in foster care in Yate and applicants would need to come and meet her here.
