Background –
Sophie came to us when she was not claimed after being found as a stray in February. She went straight into a fabulous foster home.
Character –
Sophie’s foster mom says she is the sweetest, happiest girl you could ever meet. She is very cuddly and very playful and enjoys following us around the house or out and about on long walks and day trips. She likes to be taken out to the local cafe for a puppaccino and greeting other dogs and people.
Type of home –
Sophie would be best suited to a fun, active family. She has oodles of energy and enjoys a good long walk and play time every day.
Sophie lives with her Golden retriever foster brother and they enjoy playing tug of war and sofa cuddles. For this reason we feel Sophie with a playful, friendly companion dog. Sophie is happiest when with her humans and would love a home that allows her to sleep at the bottom of the bed on her favourite blanket.
Sophie is a pretty lady who is not afraid to get her feet wet…and infact LOVES muddy puddles, so her new family should enjoy getting a little but mucky sometimes!
Sophie is friendly and gentle when taking treats from all humans, for this reason we feel she could live in a family with dog savvy children.
Training needs –
Sophie exhibits seperation anxiety so she will need an understanding home with adoptors who can keep her company most of the time. She has shown improvement with training whilst in her foster home and will need on-going support with this.
Sophie gets very excited for her walks and tends to pull on the lead, she is tiny but mighty so will need a family who are physically able to handle her whilst continuing her lead training.
Adopting –
Sophie is currently in a foster home in Nailsea and successful applicants will need to come and meet her here.
