Background – Spock arrived when he was  was taken to be put to sleep – it was a very urgent situation and we are so glad he is safe with us. We don’t believe he has had any structured training or socialisation so was a bit of an unruly pup, but he’s done really well here.

Character – Spock has been a really affectionate and friendly boy here. As a typical beagle he is cheeky and always has his nose to the ground (and ears switched off)!

With other dogs – Spock has been a little nervous with other dogs but does happily attend training classes with them. He may suit being an only dog for now, but could live with others subject to successful introductions.

Type of home – Spock is an energetic, lively boy who will need an active home with lots of mental enrichment too. He’ll be a great, fun companion but will need training and socialisation to help him catch up and what he has missed. Spock does tend to resource guard and so we would not place him in a home with children to be extra careful.

Adoption – Spock is a resident at our kennels and applicants will need to come and meet him here.
