  • Nervous – needs a quiet countryside home
  • Resident role model dog
  • Westie lover

Stella recently arrived here with several other Westies. All had just been retired from breeding. After their vet checks and then going straight to our groomers for their matted coats to be clipped off (they came from a dairy farm and were rather smelly, to say the least), they went to foster homes to start their lives as retired pet dogs.

Stella has done very well.  She is very good with humans, including children, though can be typically Westie bossy with the other little dogs in her foster home around food and affection.

We are looking for a great, kind, understanding forever home for Stella.  She has always lived with other dogs so, another good role model in her forever home would be helpful for Stella to learn from.  She is being fostered in Yeovil so local homes in that area, please. We can’t rehome too far afield at present due to Covid restrictions.

“8 weeks today Stella came to her forever home, doing amazingly well, such a brave little girl overcoming her fears and making new doggy friends. She is so loved. Thank you Dog Friends!” – Stella’s adopters
