Breed: Pocket Bully
Age: 3 years old
Donation: £350
Background:
Whiskey was a much loved pet who came to us after an unfortunate change in circumstances meant her family could no longer care for her.
Character:
Whiskey makes friends everywhere she goes. This girl was a firm favourite with our kennel staff and has been great with her foster carers. Whiskey is friendly and affectionate, is gentle, loves cuddles and fuss and is an all round sweetie.
In the home:
Although she has only recently arrived in a foster home Whiskey has been a pleasure to care for so far. Still a little shy and unsettled, Whiskey has started to come out of her shell and will now venture out of her safe space to ask for fuss and tickles. Whiskey settles quietly in her bed at night and has been clean in the house.
Outside the home:
Whiskey has clearly has some training and will respond to commands e.g. she sits and waits nicely at the curb when asked. On lead Whiskey doesn’t seem to pull, is sociable with other dogs, is alert to her surroundings, and enjoys being out and about. She is also fine traveling in the car.
Type of home:
Although Whiskey likes to get out and about she isn’t looking for a crazily active home. In her previous home she lived with children and another dog.
Adoption:
Whiskey is in foster in Weston-super-Mare and applicants will need to visit her there.
