Background

Wolfie has been in and out of rescue and rehoming over the years so it’s fair to say his life has been a little unsettled. He’s now with Dogs Friends after he was abandoned. He is now looking for the forever family that can give him his perfect retirement.

About Wolfie

A gentle soul, Wolfie can be a little nervous at first. Once Wolfie trusts you he’s the sweetest boy, equal parts cuddly and independent. He loves going out for a walk and is good on the lead. Although he doesn’t appear to have much training his temperament is very calm and he’s learning to sit on command (he’s already very good at paw!). He is fully house trained and is brilliant in the car. This old boy still has a lot of life and love to give, his adoptive family will be very lucky to have him.

Type of home

Wolfie would like a home that doesn’t have children or other animals as he is not keen on them. He also needs someone to be around most of the time as he currently barks when left alone. Wolfie responds well to food based training.

Health

Wolfie has no known health issues. He has recently had some teeth out so his new home will need to keep an eye on his dental health.

Adoption process

Wolfie is in foster care in Weston-super-Mare.

The adoption process can be found at https://dogsfriends.me.uk/adopting/
