Breed: Cavalier x Bichon Frise
Age: 5 months
Donation: £300.
Wren is a young Cavalier cross Bichon Frise. She was born with congenital cataracts and therefore could not be sold by her breeder. We took her to see our eye specialist as soon as she arrived here last Autumn. The plan is that she is checked by the specialist ever three months, is kept on supportive eye drops several times a day to keep her eyes as comfortable as possible and then, most likely, have surgery to remove the cataracts when she is the right age. That surgery would be funded by our charity.
This lovely little puppy has been in foster care since she arrived here and has thrived there. She is now looking for her own, local, country, forever home. Wren manages very well with her very limited eye sight but she does need a bit more extra support and guidance then a young puppy usually needs. We definitely need her to be re-homed with other kind, gentle little young dog/s and where she will not be left much. Her foster carers and their amazing dogs have done such a great job with helping Wren and we are looking for an equally special forever home for her.
We thought we had a good adoption home for her lined up but due to no fault of hers, this has sadly fallen through.
