Breed: French Bulldog
Age: 8 years old (Estimated)
Background – Bailey recently arrived at Dogs Friends due to a change in circumstances – she has been a very much loved member of the family and has also transitioned well into her foster home where she is living with another French Bulldog and a young child.
Character – Bailey is an easy going girl – she is a delight to be around and loves everyone she meets – she has bouts of play and enjoys a round of zoomies but also loves taking herself off for a snooze.
Type of home – Bailey would adapt well to most home environments as she is so chilled – she quite happily goes with the flow. Bailey is a reluctant walker but is slowly improving, although she’s probably never going to be suited to a very active home.
Dogs and Cats – Bailey has always lived with other dogs and has really enjoyed zoomies and wrestling with the other dog in her foster home. Bailey behaves positively towards all other dogs, save for a black Cockerpoo she took a disliking to in the park! Bailey lived with a cat for several years with absolutely no issue, although as always would need patient introductions.
Health – Bailey is quite overweight and is currently on a weight loss study sponsored by Butternut Box which means her food is provided for a period of three months and regular updates are to be sent to the team at Butternut Box . Bailey has some allergy issues and is having a monthly injection to help with this which seems to have worked a treat.
Adopting – Bailey is in foster care in Bristol and applicants must be in our catchment area. Please read our adoptions page before applying.
