Erin first came to Dogs Friends about 3 years ago, when she was found abandoned on Brecon Beacons. It is suspected she was a farm dog. She found an excellent home, but her adopter is moving abroad so with heavy heart is having to re-home her. Here is what he says.

“Erin is a loving, smart, caring dog who really wants to please. She is a very fast learner and loves solving problems. She even prefers to eat her kibble from one of her puzzles than out of a bowl. She is in excellent health, with no known problems.

I have worked to house train her, socialise her and expose to as many new things as possible e.g. hoover, blenders, car journeys etc., all of which she has nailed. I have also schooled her in basic commands and have taught her some additional tricks, like weaving through legs, playing dead, etc. She walks well on a lead, without pulling. She enjoys walking, running and free running.”

She is good with other dogs, and even with free range chickens, but doesn’t like loud noises (fireworks, etc.) and best not with young children. She will be looking for a quiet country home.

Sounds good!
