Background – Holly arrived in our care from a breeding background and was in quite a bad way, but thankfully had a miracle recovery from her illness following emergency vet care and has flourished in a foster home where she is living with several other rescue Cavaliers.
Character – Holly is a very, very loving and sweet dog – it’s very easy to fall in love with her. Now that her health has improved she is much fitter and able to have fun, especially on her walks. Holly’s foster Mum describes her as a ‘cuddle monster’ who loves to snuggle up on your lap or in a puppy pile with her pooch pals.
Type of home – Holly needs a home with other dogs as we do not feel she could cope on her own. Holly would be best placed in a calmer home and without children as she has tendency to snatch food and be mouth when she plays (although with absolutely no malice).
Health – We initially thought Holly had some heart problems, but after further vet investigation we are very pleased to say she does not.
Adoption – Holly is in foster care in WSM and applicants must be willing to meet her in foster home.
