Background and Character – Little Bich came into foster care a very anxious and frightened little dog, having come from a breeding background.  It was very difficult to handle her as she was nipping because she was scared but fortunately his is no longer the case.  After time and patience with Little Bich she has come to trust the foster carer and is now the sweetest most affectionate dog.  She loves to cuddle in around your neck at night time but also is happy to sleep in her bed. Although she is very timid and unsure of people she doesn’t know coming into her space, she just barks and is not vicious at all!

Type of home – Little Bich would benefit from a quiet household with few people – perhaps just a couple as a busy family home may be overwhelming for her. Although she is still adjusting, she has adapted well to living in a home and is grasping her basic training such as house training and lead walking. In foster care, she can be left for 1-2 hours at a time.

Dogs and cats – Little Bich gets on well with other dogs and would benefit from a canine role model for her to seek reassurance and direction from. We have not been able to cat test little Bich.

Specific needs – This special soul has come so far in the last 6 weeks and has so much potential for someone who has the time to spend with her. The new guardians must be willing to continue her kind and gentle training as this is simply going to be a case of time and effort – and you’ll no doubt be rewarded with endless love and loyalty.

Adopting – Little Bich is currently living in foster care in Somerset and applicants must be in our catchment area. Please read our adoptions page before applying.
