Lulu and Nettie as they are affectionately called for short, are a bonded pair of best friends, perhaps even relatives. Lulu and Nettie must be rehomed together – we will not separate them.

Lulu and Nettie came to us very frightened but have really come out of their shell in their foster home and revealed their sweet nature and lovely personalities.

Lulu is a Bichon Frise, Nettie a Cavachon, and both are estimated to be around 5 years old. Lulu is the more confident and calm of the 2 and has become a real cuddle lover. Nettie is a happy, energetic and playful little girl but still very nervous around humans. She will gladly take treats & lick your hand and will let you stroke her but is still very unsure about being touched. They will need a home with someone very patient & kind.

They can live with or without other dogs and have lived alongside cats with no problems in foster. They also have lots of experience with their foster mums very young grandchildren & have shown no aggression, although Nettie can play nip in excitement when getting ready for a walk, so older, more confident children may be preferable.

Both girls love their walks: they love to run around their foster family’s secure field & have good recall. However, they will need a lot more patience and training to become comfortable on lead.

Nettie has a heart condition that doesn’t require any medication or cause her any bother and needs regular ear cleaning.

Their perfect home would be in a household where they can receive plenty of patience & understanding, and have a good-sized garden to run around so that they don’t have to walk on lead until they’re a bit further forward in their training.
