Luna is a happy, friendly girl who loves to say hello to people. Luna greets you politely which is lucky as she is quite a big girl with lots of love to give. When she arrived with us Luna was very overweight but plenty of exercise and a sensible diet is helping her to loose the pounds which will give her a whole new lease of life! We are looking for an adoptive home where Luna can continue this good work to ensure she lives a long, healthy life whilst working towards her target weight of 40kg.

Luna prefers to be around people, however will settle in her own space as long as she knows you’re nearby. Luna is always happy to receive attention but she isn’t demanding. There doesn’t seem to be anything which bothers Luna, and she doesn’t seem to be phased by the loud noises or farm vehicles around her foster home. Luna has made great progress with her lead walking, and this training will need to be continued in her adoptive home.

Luna doesn’t seem to want the company of other dogs, and is assertive but polite in response to unwanted attention from them.

Luna runs around some times and is much better at climbing hay bales than you would expect! It may partly be the colouring of her face but she looks to be smiling. Luna should have some one home all day for company, or would probably be happy going to work – she loves to be out and about with her foster carer!  She would be happy to be close to someone and not interfere with their work.

Anyone looking for a fabulous, friendly companion – Luna is the lady for you!

If you are considering applying to adopt Luna, please ensure you have thoroughly read her profile – any applications that do not meet her home specification will not be considered. Applicants must be willing to attend a meet and greet. A home check and vet reference (where applicable) will be conducted.
