Oliver is a happy, friendly boy who didn’t have the best start in life due to his eye deformity and sight loss. Fortunately, thanks to being in a foster home and having plenty of socialisation and training, Oliver is a well-rounded and confident dog who has a wonderful nature and so much love to give.

Oliver will need a friendly and well-socialised resident dog to continue building his confidence as he is partially sighted. Oliver is likely to require surgery at 6 months old to remove his deformed eye, and this will be done by Rowe Veterinary Group. The surgery will be covered by Dogs Friends. Due to upcoming surgery and his age, Oliver will need a home where there is someone around for most of the day.

Oliver is well behaved in the home (bar his teething chewing!), where he has free rein and sleeps in with his foster carers for company. Whilst his walking is still limited to short walks due to his age, he would benefit from a fairly active adoptive home where he can enjoy daily walks and adventures.

Oliver is in foster care in South Gloucestershire (North Bristol) and applicants must be willing to visit Oliver in his foster home and continue his ongoing training and socialisation.
