Can you organise and run a local event to help raise money for our rescue? We’re always in need of volunteers to host, run, and organise fundraising activities.
Whether it’s a coffee morning, a dog walk, a local quiz, or finally taking the leap and doing a challenge in aid of charity—your activities can help raise awareness for our dogs who desperately need local foster and adoptive homes.
We can provide support to promote your event, as well as materials such as posters or donation tins. Get in touch to start your volunteer fundraising!
We are currently fully resourced for Volunteer Dog Walkers.
Dog walking hours are usually between 10am and 12 noon. Do not turn up without a prior appointment.
Please come prepared with suitable clothing and footwear for walking in the rain and muddy fields. Please note that accompanying dogs and children are not allowed. It is also advisable to have a mobile phone with you.

We occasionally need volunteer drivers from somerset and the surrounding areas to help us transport dogs and donations. If you think you could help, please complete our sign up form.

Home checkers play a vital role in our adoption process, visiting applicants to ensure every dog moves into a safe and secure environment. If you’re up for the challenge and want to help us change lives, sign up below!
We particularly need checkers in the Somerset area, as we have plenty currently in North Somerset.

For just £5 a month for a 12 month period (or one payment of £60 for a year) you will be making a major contribution towards the cost of the vet’s bill for one dog.
In return you will be given one share in the Club which will remain valid for 12 months and thereafter for further 12 month periods for as long as you so wish, which we hope will be for a very long time – and there is no restriction to the number of shares you can own either!
The more shares you buy the better the chance you have of winning the monthly draw, details of which are in the Club Rules.
