Background –
Tigger came into the care of Dogs Friends via a Pound after being picked up as a stray.
Character –
Tigger was an obvious name choice as soon as we saw this guy bouncing around in our secure field. He’s a playful youngster who is full of fun and enthusiasm for life. Tigger is very people-friendly and has been great with all the other dogs he has met so far. He will even accept a telling off from another dog if he gets a bit over enthusiastic in his play. He’s very sweet-natured and affectionate with people.
Type of home –
Tigger will need someone happy to continue work on his confidence, training and socialisation. Tigger is a little nervous of new situations and loud noises, so his new family will need to be mindful of this. As a lively youngster, he will need an active home and family who he can join on adventures.
Tigger could live with other dogs but has prey drive typical of his breed type so no cats or small animals. Tigger may be better with similarly sized or larger dogs rather than very small ones.
Adopting –
Tigger is in foster care in Bristol. Applicants will need to come and visit her here.
Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
