At Dogs Friends we usually have a number of dogs in ‘long-term foster care’.
These are dogs who—because of their age, medical requirements, or behavioural needs—are not suitable for adoption, but deserve a safe home, regular meals, the warmth of a bed, and the love of a human being. These homes are sometimes provided by our foster carers and sometimes the dogs remain at our kennel facility, but we remain responsible for all their vet bills, which is a significant drain on our limited resources. Have a look below at some very deserving dogs.
Could you help one of these dogs by sponsoring? By sponsoring a dog, you help us ensure these special residents have all the care and treatment they need and deserve! You could even sponsor as a gift—perhaps on behalf of someone who is no longer able to have a dog, or someone who would prefer a charity donation over traditional gifts.
