Background –

Bernie was found as a stray with a horrible leg injury, and is now recuperating in a foster home.

Character –

Bernie is very sweet and loving, he adores cuddling up to his foster carers and is a real sweetheart. Bernie also loves other dogs and is very playful, so he’s a great all rounder!

He is a typical lurcher who enjoys snoozing most of the day with some quality excercise and stimulation mixed into his day. He recently visited a pub with his lurcher friends and he was a very good boy indeed.

Out on walks he is full of beans, so he’ll no doubt be a great companion for more active sighthound fans,

Type of home –

Bernie is still recuperating at the moment so is on limited exercise, but as he will probably really enjoy long walks in the future, a more active home is best. Bernie is strong on the lead and will need ongoing training.
