  • Looking for a solo-dog home
  • Can live with children 2+
  • Cannot live with cats

Background

Buddy found himself in our care when very sadly his owner became too ill to take care of him. He went straight into a lovely foster home and is a really happy little dog.

Character

Buddy is cuddly, affectionate and loves a fuss – he especially loves children! He is very smart too and would probably really enjoy a home where he could do some games based training. Buddy loves his walks which adds a nice balance to how relaxed and calm he is at home.

With other dogs

On walks, Buddy lunges and barks at other dogs – he does need to build up confidence and social skills so this is something to be worked on. Buddy is used to living with another dog and upon arrival was happy around others, but as he has settled in his foster home he has been guarding his Mum from the other dog and so we are looking to place him as an only dog to avoid conflict.

Type of home

Buddy just loves to love and will be a wonderful addition to many different home set-ups. He prefers to be in bed with his people as this is what he’s used to, so the acceptance of a snuggle buddy is a must, although we have discovered he can’t do the stairs and needs to be carried. Buddy can be left at home alone for short periods so he would be ok in a home where his family need to pop out without him sometimes.

Adopting – Buddy is a resident in foster care in Bristol and successful applicants will need to meet him there.
