Background –
Charlie returned to us when his previous owner became too unwell to care for him.
Character –
Charlie is a very loving and affectionate boy who loves cuddles! He’s very clever and learns quickly, especially with the aid of a treat. Charlie has been very respectful and friendly with all his doggy pals within the home. He’s very well behaved at home and travels well in the car, which is good because he is an active boy who loves going for walks and adventures.
When outside the home Charlie is very sociable off the lead but he does struggle a little more when on the lead, especially when he sees other dogs. He can find this overstimulating, causing him to become a bit vocal. His foster support system has been working hard to help him with this and has seen the behaviour improve, so we hope it will continue to do so in his new home.
Type of home –
Charlie would find a busy home too overstimulating so he is looking for a calm home with routine and stability. He needs owners who can provide him with plenty of exercise and where someone is home most of the time. Charlie can live with other dogs, but unfortunately, not cats. Charlie is a great walking companion and a gentle, sweet, cuddly boy who is ready to find his new home.
Adopting –
Charlie is in foster care in Weston-super-Mare, and potential adopters will need to meet him here.
Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
