  • Could live with children 7 plus
  • Can live with or without other dogs
  • Friendly and affectionate

Background – Coco came to us via the dog warden so we have very little background on her time before arriving at Dogs Friends. Our kennels staff say she is very friendly and affectionate so there is the possibility she has been someones pet previously.

Character – Coco is a lovely girl. Very sweet natured and has been good with other dogs and all people while in kennels. Working Kelpies can sometimes be a bit full on but Coco is more of a pet type Kelpie so more chilled and easy going although still fairly high energy.

Type of home – Coco will need a home with adopters who will understand her energy levels and enjoy working on her training. An intelligent dog like Coco will really flourish when she finds an activity that she really loves. Plenty of exercise and mental stimulation is a must but she will reward you with lots of cuddles too. Coco can jump up when excited so no really young children. She’s happily shared her kennels so should be fine with other dogs in the home but is very people orientated so would probably be fine as an only dog too. Coco has met cats and chickens and didn’t react to them so could live with either with careful introductions and management.

Coco is currently staying in our kennels near Wells so adopters will need to be willing to visit her there. As part of the adoption process applicants will need to undergo a home and vet check. Details of our adoption process can be found here https://dogsfriends.me.uk/adopting/
