Background

Crono joined us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own.

Character

Crono is a lovely boy who is very intelligent and willing to please. He has a gentle, sensitive nature, which means he sometimes finds things a bit stressful (such as fireworks, stormy nights, and loud, unexpected noises). When out on his walks, he is far more confident and more noise-tolerant (bonus: he also travels well in the car!).

Crono is friendly with all people and loves a fuss, if a little shy at first. He has lived with other dogs and gets on well with all he meets.

Crono is energetic and athletic; he loves to run, swim and play ball. Crono can be left for short periods, but is happiest when his people are nearby.

Type of home

Crono needs a quiet calm home with routine and consistency. Where someone is home for most of the time. An active home is a must.

He could be an only dog, but another friendly pooch may help him with his confidence. He hasn’t been cat tested but has shown no interest in those he’s encountered. So he may be able to live with a dog savvy cat. Crono is a true gent and will make a great addition to an understanding,  patient and loving home.

Health

When with his previous owner several years ago, he suffered a couple of seizures.  He has had no further episodes since and is otherwise fit and healthy.

Adopting

Crono is in foster care in Weston-super-Mare, and potential adopters will need to meet him here.

Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
