Background

Koda has joined us from the Pound. Unlike our usual stray cases, Koda was a regular customer at the pound’s kennels. When he became at risk of being PTS, they took him in to help him find a home.

Character

Koda is an affectionate, bouncy boy. He’s been loving spending time with our kennel team, but equally seems happy to go and do his own thing. He’s been busy showing off his tricks for the team and is keen to learn more, especially when treats are on the cards! Koda can be boisterous, typical of a dog of his size, so it’s important that boundaries and training continue to be given.

Type of home

Koda can be boisterous and dog-selective, so he’s looking for a strong, breed-experienced home. Koda has a good amount of energy and loves getting out in the field or going for walks, so an active home would be preferable. He travels well in the car, so trips out for extra special walks shouldn’t be a problem for this guy.

Adopting

Koda is currently in the Kennel (between Cheddar and Wells), and potential adopters will need to visit them here.

Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
