Background

Lily arrived with us back in March with her sister Sky – they were closely bonded and we rehomed them together after they spent time in foster care. A very sad incident occurred in which the girls had a fight – both were injured and Lily returned to kennels to recover and look for a home by herself when she is ready.

Character

Lily is a sweet and friendly dog who is happy and confident around people. When she was in foster care, Lily lived with 4 other dogs (of mixed sizes) and was great with them – happy to share a bed and occasionally playing together. She is comfortable in most settings and has even enjoyed trips to the pub when she was in foster care.

Type of home

Lily gets on well with people and children of all ages so could live with calm and sensible children. Although Lily has always got on well with other dogs (we could not fault her in foster care), due to the incident with her sister, she will need a home as a solo dog.

Health

Lily has an old leg/shoulder injury which she had when she came into rescue – she has had lots of physiotherapy and has done very well so is able to run and play like other dogs (she just walks with a limp).

Adopting

Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
