DOB: 15/02/2022
Breed: German Shepherd (33kg but needs to gain weight)
Donation: £350
Background –
Onyx arrived with us a while ago and due to how clever he is, he was put forward for training to be a working dog (In the Prison Service). He passed his initial assessment but there were no handlers available for him in service, so he eventually returned to us.
Character –
Onyx is a bright, happy dog who loves to play in the paddock and gets very excited when racing around. He loves toys of all kinds and responds so well to voice commands on walks.
True to his breed and training background, Onyx is a natural protector and exhibits these behaviours.
Type of home –
Onyx is a fairly independent soul who is looking for a breed-experienced, adult-only home with someone who is physically capable and very active.
Onyx ignores other dogs at the kennels so we are not sure whether or not he could live with other dogs in a home environment.
Adopting –
Onyx is a resident at our kennels (between Wells and Cheddar) and applicants will need to come and meet him here.
