Background –

Poppy joined us from a breeding background.

Character –

Poppy is an affectionate little girl who finds the outside world very worrying. This is common for dogs of her background, and her new family will need to be understanding of this and take their time with her. She travels well in the car and loves nothing more than sitting on the couch with her family.

Type of home –

Poppy is a very nervous dog due to her background. She’s hoping to find an experienced, understanding, and calm home where she can grow her confidence at her own pace. Poppy finds sudden and loud noises very scary so it’s important her new home isn’t too noisy. Poppy must go into a home with another dog but she likes to chase cats so we think a cat-free home would be best.

Poppy is in foster care in Clevedon and potential adopters will need to meet her here.

Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
