Background

Pip and Rosie came into rescue due to a sad situation in their home. They went straight into foster care and we are now very excited to find the perfect home for them!

Character

Their foster carer says “Pip and Rosie are absolutely adorable. They are both very affectionate dogs that love a cuddle and a fuss. They can both be quite nervous as they are only small but becoming more brave each day. They are both little shadows and will follow you about the house wherever you go. They absolutely love a cuddle and are just the sweetest little pooches.’

Type of home

Some useful information about the adorable duo:

  • They would like an affectionate and cuddly home where they can sleep in with their family
  • They would like a quiet and calm home in a fairly quiet location (they are not used to busy city environments)
  • They love their walks and also travel well in the car
  • They are still working on their house training, but have made good progress
  • They are happy to be around other dogs on walks, but have not lived with other dogs before
  • They get on reasonably well with cats (there are three in the foster home), but Rosie does occasionally have a bit of a bark

Health

Rosie has a Luxating patella but this does not stop her enjoying life – it’s just something to keep an eye on.

Adopting

Rosie and Pip are in foster care in Cheddar and applicants would need to come and meet them here.
