Background –
Teddie joined us as an owner surrender when his family felt they could no longer give him the life he deserved.
Character –
Teddie is a smart, affectionate boy looking for a fun family to enrich the lives of. He’s loving being fussed in his foster home, has learnt lots of fun tricks, and has been keeping a smile on everyone’s faces with his funny antics. Teddie loves to play with anyone and everyone but is also quite happy entertaining himself, he’s not fussy!
Type of home –
Teddie is an energetic boy looking for an active home. He can live with or without a resident dog, as he loves to play with pooch pals (resident dog(s) must be tolerant of a playful adolescent). Teddie is currently in an adult-only foster home but has met children during this time and been very good. He’s come from a home with children so we think he should be ok going into an adoptive home with children 5+.
Teddie’s new family must be aware and committed to the ongoing grooming needs of his breed (full groom typically needed every 6 weeks). Teddie is still showing puppy like behaviours such as pulling on the lead, excited mouthing, and jumping up, so is looking for a home that can continue teaching him the manners he needs to become a wonderful adult dog.
Teddie travels well in the car and is just a friend to the world, so he’ll happily learn to join you on trips out.
Adopting –
Teddie is currently in Bristol and potential adopters will need to visit them here.
Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
