Background

Winnie has come with very little information about her history but we know she has previously been used for breeding.

Character

Winnie is a happy, confident, cuddly little lady. She’s so full of personality and can brighten any room she enters! Whilst she knows how to have down time and will happily take herself off to bed she also loves to play and is fully of classic bulldog energy and charm.

Type of home

Winnie absolutely loves everyone she meets and has been great with children, spending some time on holiday cover with young children, so we think she’ll adapt to many home set ups. Whilst Winnie is friendly with other dogs she has typical bulldog enthusiasm and can push their boundaries, so we think she would prefer to spend her home life as a solo pooch.

Winnie gets very excited to go out and about, meet her fans, and try new places – bonus is she travels well in the car! She’s currently doing multiple short walks a day to build up strength but hopes to increase this as her body condition improves.

Health

Winnie does have some ongoing health needs which have been investigated and are being managed with physiotherapy and medication.

Adopting

Winnie is in North Bristol and potential adopters will need to meet her here.

Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
