Background – Winston has had a very sad life before arriving with Dogs Friends. He’s said to have spent his whole life in a flat, never going out and was then handed in to the local dog warden as a stray.

Character – Winston is a real gentleman. He’s very shy, having never seen anything of the world, but has started to enjoy life now he’s having a chance to experience the outside world. Winston is timid and wary of the world but enjoys a gentle stroll and a good sniff.

Type of home – Due to his secluded life Winston needs a home where he won’t be overwhelmed. Somewhere quiet and calm where he has the opportunity to get used to new experiences slowly would be ideal. Winston has previously lived with another dog but will not have had the usual socialisation outside of the home so will need support with this.

Adopting – Winston is currently at our kennels near Wells so applicants will need to be available to visit him there.
