Background –
Teddy came to us via the pound so we have no history for him. Although his confidence and behaviour suggests he has been a pet.
Character –
Teddy is a very small (4.5kg) boy. He has quickly settled into his foster home as if he has always lived there. Teddy is a very confident, friendly and active boy, with a sweet and sometimes cheeky personality. Teddy is happy living with the resident dog and is happy meeting dogs and people alike out on his walks. He travels well in the car and always enjoys his adventures outside the home.
Type of home –
Teddy is looking for a quiet, calm home with someone there to keep him company. He has been left for very short periods during the day but prefers to sleep in the bedroom with his people. Where he happily spends the night in his crate, as long as he knows you’re there.
Teddy gets on well with all dogs large and small. So could live with another friendly, respectful dog or happily be an only dog. We’re not sure if Teddy has ever lived with children, but could possibly live with older dog savvy ones.
Teddy is an adorable little boy. He will make a great companion for anyone who can give him an active home with plenty of walks, love and attention.
Health –
When Teddy arrived he had a long silky coat, but sadly he was so matted he needed to be clipped very short. Teddy will need regular grooming and his new family will need to be prepared to keep up with this.
Adopting –
Teddy is in foster care in Weston-super-Mare and potential adopters will need to meet him here.
Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
