Background –
Dottie joined us after her time at the pound was served. It is believed she’s come from oversees but her Microchip details were not up to date.
Character –
Dottie is a very sweet girls with boisterous energy once she comes out of her shell. She needs some reassurance in new situations and when walking on the lead as sometimes as she doesn’t know what to do. Her favourite thing has been lying in muddy puddles.
Type of home –
Dottie is looking for a experienced home that is willing to work on her activity levels and confidence. She needs more socialisation and confidence building as it seems she’s maybe lived a sheltered life however she has been brilliant with people whilst in our care. Dottie isn’t too sure about getting in the car and has required lifting, so her new owners may need to be able to accommodate this.
She has shared a foster home with a cat since joining us, and so we think she will be fine living in a home with a cat.
Adopting –
Dottie is a resident at our kennels, between Cheddar and Wells, and potential adopters will need to meet her here.
Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
