Background

Halo joined us from a sad situation where she was kept in a crate for much of the time. She was very underweight and in need of some TLC.

Character

Halo is a very happy pooch who is active, curious and playful. She has proven herself to be very resilient even though she’s had a poor start to life. Halo enjoys all the time she now gets to spend outside and is loving her new experiences so far!

Type of home

We think Halo would be best suited to an active home committed to ongoing training and socialisation. Even though she’s still underweight, Halo is strong and will need confident handlers.

Halo was reported to come from a home with toddlers so we think she may be able to live with children in her new home, subject to successful introductions. She could live with or without other dogs. Most of all, we think Halo would love to experience sleeping on a nice warm sofa!

Health

Due to Halos background she has struggled with some stomach issues, we hope this will reduce as she slowly gets back to a nice and healthy weight.

Adopting

Halo is a resident at our Kennels (between Cheddar and Wells) and possible adopters will need to meet her here

Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
