Background –
Lucy arrived with us after being found as a stray and had clearly recently given birth to a litter of puppies. She was in need of gentle care and nurturing. We are hopeful that a happier life is ahead for her after she was dumped full of milk and infection.
Character –
Lucy is very affectionate once she knows you, and loves to play around in the fields (although this is currently limited due to her bad heart). Lucy is even a good girl at the vets! Unfortunately Lucy is not a fan of other dogs.
Type of home –
We are looking for a kind, caring home with someone who can look after Lucy as she recovers from her surgery (we are hoping someone will offer to care for her as recovering from surgery in kennels isn’t ideal).
Health –
Lucy has a problem with her heart, and we are hoping she can have surgery soon. This will be discussed fully with anyone interested in adopting her!
Adopting –
Lucy is currently a resident at our kennels near Wells.
