Background –
Piper and Sookie arrived with us with minimal history, but it is believed they have lived in a home environment.
Character –
The girls are both incredibly affectionate and love to get cuddles! Piper would happily spend all day on your lap or under a blanket. Sookie is the more nervous of the two; she seeks reassurance from her people and would love a kind, calm person to cuddle up with. These girls are the perfect pair if you want to love and be loved.
“It’s been a real joy to watch these girls settle and come out of their shells. Sookie has shown she loves to play with toys, whilst Piper will do anything for another snack”
Type of home –
We are looking for a calm, patient home for the girls with people who can commit to supporting their needs with plenty of cuddles, reassurance and socialisation. The girls can’t share a house with other pets, and walks should be in quiet areas with plenty of space from other dogs. They haven’t met children whilst in our care, but they have not shown any negative behaviour towards people, so they may be able to live with sensible, very calm children, subject to successful introductions.
They are both low-energy dogs who thrive with mental enrichment.
Health –
Piper has a sensitive tummy, which will need careful management through her diet.
Adopting –
The girls are in foster care in Weston-super-Mare and applicants would need to come and meet them here.
