Donation: £250

  • Can live with older children
  • Could live with a female dog
  • Cannot live with cats

Background:

We took Tommy in when his owner found themself in a difficult situation and unable to care for their dogs.

Character:

Tommy is an intelligent and active Jack Russell and he will be a lovely companion. He has previously squabbled with his brother but may be able to live with a well socialised girl dog.
Inside the home:

He loves to sit on your lap for a cuddle and settles well at night in his bed. He loves food and is comfortable being left for up to 3 hours.
Tommy has a good routine which prevents any accidents in the home. He can be possessive of his toys and will bark at people coming to the front door.
Outside of the home:

Tommy enjoys his walks and is good on the lead. He does not like other dogs in his face but accepts them at a reasonable distance.
He travels well in the car and was very well behaved when he accompanied his foster family for a pub meal.

Adopting:

Tommy is in foster care in Weston-super Mare. Potential adopters will need to meet him here.
