Background

Zorro came to us with an unknown background, so we have spent a bit of time getting to know her.

Character

Zorro’s foster carer says she settled almost instantly and loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa – she is an extremely affectionate girl! We think Zorro may have been shouted at a lot previously as seems to worry about being in trouble, cowering and creeping around. Despite this, she is learning to trust and has an incredibly gentle nature.

Zorro is a nervous girl whose anxieties increase around other dogs, which can result in barking and chewing habits. Her adopters will need to support Zorro with her fears and understand that busy dog and people areas may not be best suited for her.

Type of home

Zorro is an easy going girl who is happy to chill out in her bed, but also enjoys mooching around outside. Zorro enjoys her walkies (1 mile morning and evening) so would suit someone who is moderately active.

Zorro is happy to snooze on the sofa and is comfortable being left home alone so would be ok if her new family need to pop out for work.

We think Zorro would find excitable kids too scary and she would prefer a calm, quieter home.

Adopting

Zorro is in foster care in North Bristol and applicants would need to come and meet her here.
