Background –
MP was picked up as a stray and fortunately went straight into a lovely home. Due to the extreme matting she had, her coat had to be shaved off.
Character –
MP is extremely affectionate and cuddly, and has a really gentle nature. She absolutely adores people and she loves people stopping to say hello and because of her cuteness this happens a lot! She is currently living with children and two Labradors who she really likes! Her foster carer says ‘She is such a wonderful gentle cuddly girl. You can loose hours in the day just cuddling her! Once she has settled fully and understands this new world she will be the most fantastic companion and best friend’
Type of home –
A home with LOTS of time for cuddles and affection is essential, and a calm home would be best for her. A room with a view is a bonus! She likes to see outside and becomes upset if she can’t see out, and also loves to potter around the garden. She loves her walks too and is already growing in confidence!
A gentle resident dog would benefit her, and although she isn’t reliant on them, when she is scared having the presence of other dogs helps her. (particularly when travelling in the car). She has been friendly towards all other dogs she has met.
Health –
MP arrived in a very matted state, but otherwise is well. We have scheduled for her to be spayed on 7th November (prior to leaving us). MP will need a family who can keep on top of grooming her as her coat grows back.
Adopting –
MP is in foster care in Bridgwater and applicants would need to come and meet her here. We are hoping MP can move to her new home once she is recovered from her spay (mid November).
